The Cryptid Zoo: Sasquatch

"Sasquatch" is simply another word for Bigfoot. It tends to be used by those who think the term "Bigfoot" is too linked with sensationalism. In addition, some researchers call the American Bigfoot "Bigfoot" and call the Canadian Bigfoot "sasquatch." The word "sasquatch" is not a Native American word for Bigfoot, as has often been claimed, rather it is a corruption of several similar words used by different tribes.

Since there is little or no difference between Bigfoot and sasquatch, most relevant information can be found in the Bigfoot section of The Crypto Zoo, except for a few sasquatch-specific resources listed below.
